Here is a roundup of the top Liverpool news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you guys may have missed today…
There has been some fresh reports in the media which have claimed that LIVERPOOL are still very interested in trying to sign Bayern Munich star Jamaal Musiala in the coming transfer windows.
Many Liverpool fans were wondering what would happen to the club after the departure of Jurgen Klopp at the end of last season, as the German was going to be a hard man to replace after so much success as boss of the Reds.
But Arne Slot has a squad full of world class players that are doing a fantastic job this season, and the Reds are arguably the best side in Europe right now and the side most likely to win the Premier League and Champions League.
It will be very hard to improve the side as the squad is quality, but according to Caught Offside, Liverpool still hold an interest in Bayern Munich superstar Jamal Musiala.
Musiala is one of the most dynamic, exciting and talented players in world football and a man that Bayern believe can get them back into the habit of winning that Champions League title.
However – there has been alot of speculation about his long-term future at Bayern Munich and it has been mentioned on many occasions that a move to the Premier League could happen, with a number of top clubs ready to splash the cash to try and get a transfer deal done.
Bayern are hoping to tie the 21-year-old down to a bumper new deal and are optimistic about their chances. Were they to let Musiala leave, the German giants would be fielding offers worth roughly £149Million

As much as we would love to see Musiala make the move to the Premier League and test himself against the best players – we cant see him coming to England anytime soon.
At this stage of his career – he is happy at Bayern – he does not want to leave – he has a massive contract and is one of the clubs biggest players, so despite all the rumours and all the links with a move away – it will not happen.
LIVERPOOL have done some decent business last summer – and Musiala would be another great signing, but we cant see it happening guys
TAA WANTS MADRID MOVE
Trent Alexander-Arnold has told LIVERPOOL he wants to leave for Real Madrid when his contract runs out at the end of the season, despite the reports that the Reds have offered the defender €20 million annually to stay.
LIVERPOOL have been doing alot of business over the last couple of transfer windows adding players to the side that will help get the club challenging for titles once again, but they are also keen to keep hold of some of their biggest players.
Alexander-Arnold has been criticized for many of his defensive displays during his time at the club , but that doesnt hide the fact that he is still one of the very best players in his position.
The England star has been the subject of much speculation amid rumours of a new contract at Anfield and interest from Real Madrid, but now The Reds have proposed a four-year deal reportedly worth €20 million annually to the England international.
However, according to AS, Alexander-Arnold has told Liverpool he wants to leave for Real Madrid when his contract runs out at the end of the season, and the report claims Real are prepared to discuss terms with the right-back as early as this January.

There is so much speculation about the future of Alexander-Arnold and to be honest, he has not shown any real desire to show that he wants to stay, so if the right offer arrives he could leave.
He is able to hold talks about a move in the January, so LIVERPOOL only have a few days left to get this deal done.
But if the reports are true and he has asked to leave the club, then the Reds will need to make sure that they have a ready-made replacement lined up, he will be very hard to replace.
LIVERPOOL TO HOLD DAVIES TALKS
It has again been claimed that LIVERPOOL are interested in holding talks with Bayern Munich over a potential deal for Alphonso Davies, who is out of contract at the end of the season and free to hold talks in the January window
Alphonso Davies is a player that has the ability to play in a number of positions, and has been on the radar of the Premier League for quite a few seasons, but clubs have never been able to get a transfer deal done.
However Davies is open to leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season as his current deal with the Bundesliga giants is running out, and Bayern are open to letting him leave the club as they dont want to pay his massive wage demands.
And according to the latest reports, Real Madrid will be able to hold talks with Davies in the January window in hope that they come to an agreement on whether or not he signs at the end of the season,
However, having excelled at Bayern Munich for five years, the 24-year-old is reportedly considering a move to England next year with both Liverpool and Arsenal wanting his signature.
Bayern Munich remain confident that he will extend his contract but if this falls through, the Canadian international will be available as a free agent.
Amid all the speculation, Pundit Danny Murphy recently told Liverpool to make a move – speaking to BetBrain, ex-Liverpool midfielder said: “Considering what Andy Robertson has done for Liverpool and the level of performances he’s delivered over the years, he’s now in the conversation when people talk about the best left-backs Liverpool have ever had.
‘There’s been some incredible left-backs in some unbelievable LIVERPOOL teams, so let’s praise him for what he’s done in his career – he’s a winner and a phenomenal player.
“However, I don’t think Konstantinos Tsimikas is ever going to replace Robertson or play instead of him on a consistent basis, so I think Robertson and Liverpool would benefit from him having real competition at left-back and for Arne Slot to look long-term at the position.”
Suggesting Davies as a potential replacement, Murphy added: “There’d be plenty of competition, but Alphonso Davies is out of contract at Bayern Munich in the summer.
‘If you’re looking for a left-back that ticks every box in terms of one-on-one defending, threat going forward, pace and physicality, he would be the obvious choice for Liverpool.”
