Chelsea Seek New Goalkeeper
Chelsea are in the market for a new goalkeeper this summer. Manager Enzo Maresca aims to add a keeper to compete with Robert Sánchez, who is set to start the season as the first-choice goalkeeper. The club is targeting a goalkeeper with strong distribution skills to align with Maresca’s vision. Kepa Arrizabalaga is expected to leave, potentially joining Real Madrid if Andrij Lunin departs the club. Lunin is not currently part of Chelsea’s plans but may leave Madrid if he doesn’t renew his contract.

Manchester United Eyeing Centre Backs
Manchester United are open to signing another centre-back following the acquisition of Leny Yoro. Outgoings are necessary to proceed with new signings, but the plan remains to add two centre-backs this summer. Matthijs de Ligt is a top target, with personal terms agreed, but United want to negotiate add-ons as the €50m fee is considered too high. Jarrad Branthwaite is also appreciated, though Everton’s asking price of £70/75m is deemed excessive.

Erik ten Hag on Jadon Sancho
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag addressed the situation with Jadon Sancho, saying, “We spoke well. Everyone can make a mistake. We draw a line and move on. This club needs good players, and one thing is certain: Jadon is a very good player. I hope it will click and contribute to our success,” he told AD.

Bayer Leverkusen Pursuing Joel Matip
Bayer Leverkusen are advancing in talks to sign Joel Matip on a free transfer. Matip, who left Liverpool, has received several approaches, but Leverkusen are keen and talks are progressing.

Arsenal Secure Riccardo Calafiori
Arsenal and Bologna have reached an agreement for Italian defender Riccardo Calafiori. The final fee is set at €40m fixed plus €5m in add-ons, with a sell-on clause included. Calafiori agreed to a five-year contract in June, valid until 2029, with a salary of around €4m net. Bologna owes 50% of the deal to FC Basel, and the two clubs will discuss payment terms for this fee.

Chido Obi Martin Expected to Leave Arsenal
Arsenal consider Chido Obi Martin to be leaving the club despite a substantial proposal. Martin visited Manchester United, who are pushing to sign him. Bayern Munich, Newcastle, Monaco, and Frankfurt have also made contact, with a decision expected soon. Manchester City are not in the race.
