Chelsea will get chance to sign Joshua Kimmich in January

There will still be a chance for CHELSEA to try and bring Joshua Kimmich to the club on a free deal during the January window, as the German star has still not agreed a new contract to stay at Bayern Munich.

The German midfielder sees his contract at Bayern expire in 2025 with no progress as yet of an extension. As a result, reports that the midfielder is thought to be exploring his options this summer.

Furthermore, Fichajes states that Bayern would be willing to sell Kimmich should a “suitable offer” arrive.

The news will alert the likes of CHELSEA – as they have long admired the German star and will be looking to add some experience to the side that has some of the most exciting talents in the Premier League.

Maresca must know that the quality he has in the side right now is not ready to compete against the likes of Man City, Liverpool and even Arsenal for that Premier League titles and wants to add players with a bit of experience.

Kimmich is one of the best midfielders in the world and a man that Bayern fans will not want to see depart the club in the next transfer window – so this news will come as a shock to the system.

CHELSEA have been doing some dodgy business over the past couple of transfer windows -but if they are able to get a deal done for this man – he would be a great signing.

He is proven at the highest level of the game – is a proven winner – can play in numerous positions and is a leader on the pitch – he could be a real bargain for the club that is for sure.

But there are quite a few clubs interested – so it will be interesting to see where he ends up if he does move.
