Spurs partner with Singapore’s Tiger Beer

December 18 – Tottenham Hotspur continues to remain ‘Spursy’ on the pitch, however, when it comes to marketing and partnerships, the North London club roar. In a new deal, the club has announced that Tiger Beer will be its ‘Official International Beer Partner’ in an effort to capitalise on the team’s growing presence in Asia.

Founded in 1932, Tiger Beer originated in Singapore and is considered one of Asia’s most iconic brands. The strategic partnership aims to connect with fans through innovative activations designed to engage local fan communities, exclusive access to team training sessions, and unique coaching opportunities to inspire the next generation of footballers.

Tottenham Hotspur, chief revenue officer, Ryan Norys said: “It is fantastic to be partnering with another industry-leading brand in Tiger, with the aim of engaging our fans in Asia through unique experiences aimed at bringing people together through the power of football.”

Sean O’Donnell, the Global Brand Director for Tiger Beer added: “At Tiger Beer, we believe that individual courage is rooted in collective support. Together, we celebrate teams and the collective spirit that fuels progress, reminding everyone that we can achieve incredible individual feats when we support one another.”

With Asia increasingly becoming a rich market for top European clubs (which Spurs hope they will become…one day), the Londoners are looking to strengthen their brand visibility, deliver activations that create fan loyalty, and drive that all-important community engagement.

Earlier this year Tottenham toured Asia in pre-season visiting both Japan and South Korea, where their captain, Son Heung-min is a superstar. This was their fourth trip to South Korea, showcasing their ongoing commitment to engaging with fans in Asia.

Spurs have also just taken delivery of South Korean starlet Yang Min-Hyeok. The 18-year-old winger who has broken into the South Korean national team squad but has yet to make his debut, has joined Spurs midseason.
