PSG keen on Alexander Isak

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, Paris Saint-Germain are extremely keen on signing Alexander Isak from Newcastle. So much so, that they’re willing to pay as much as €100 million to get the transfer done.

Isak has been on great form this season, making a total of 18 appearances across all competitions and scoring 11 goals, including a hat-trick in Newcastle’s 4-0 rout of Ipswich Town a few days ago. He also has four assists to his name. In the Premier League, he has started every match he was available for, a total of 15, missing just two through a broken toe.

The 25-year-old is under contract with the Magpies until the summer of 2028, which means the club from the north-east of England would certainly demand a huge fee, and it remains to be seen if €100 million will be enough to cover it.

PSG head coach Luis Enrique is said to be unhappy with his attacking options since Kylian Mbappe moved to Real Madrid several months ago. Randal Kolo Muani is frequently linked with leaving the Parc des Princes, and various attacking players are reportedly being considered as potential additions to their squad.
