Nigerian striker and long-term CHELSEA target Victor Osimhen has made clear his intentions to stay at Galatasaray at least until the end of the current season, dispelling any speculation about a possible departure in the January window.
The 25-year-old Nigeria striker has hit the ground running in Turkey after completing a season-long loan move from Napoli to Galatasaray in September, scoring twelve goals in fifteen games
There has been alot of transfer speculation in the media that the likes of Chelsea are still interested in getting a deal done for a new striker in the January window, despite their great start to the new season, and Osimhen is a player that the club are very much interested in signing.
However – The coach of the Turkish team, Okan Buruk, reaffirmed in a recent interview that both the player and the club are aligned in this objective: “He is happy here and wants to stay with us until the end of the season,” the coach stressed
Osimhen has been a key player in Galatasaray’s season, leading the Turkish league and his performance has been key for the team to remain as leader of the championship.

Look, As we have said before, it makes sense for Osimhen to stay put until the end of the season, a permanent transfer deal would be complicated in the January window and the Nigerian will have more offers at the end of the year.
Nicolas Jackson has been decent, but he may never score the goals that could help win that Premier League title and that is why CHELSEA will surely delve into that transfer kitty at the end of the season and add that Erling Haaland type player to the side.
But then again, Jackson may score 30 goals this season and stop all the speculation
