Major League Soccer revealed its full 2025 regular-season schedule on Thursday afternoon with the league campaign set for its start date in February.
The party gets underway on February 22 with Lionel Messi and Inter Miami hosting New York City FC in an Eastern Conference affair.
Expansion side San Diego FC begins its MLS schedule with a trip to reigning MLS Cup winners LA Galaxy on Feb. 23.
Rivalry Week will take place from May 14-18, with several of the league’s top derbies on display. The Hell is Real Derby between FC Cincinnati and Columbus Crew will take place on May 17. A Cascadia Cup clash between the Seattle Sounders and Portland Timbers is also slated on May 17 before LAFC visits the LA Galaxy on May 18.
MLS will be put on hold between June 15-24 for the FIFA Club World Cup and CONCACAF Gold Cup tournaments. The 2025 MLS All-Star Game is slated to take place on July 23.
The 2025 Leagues Cup will take place between July 29 – August 31, putting a halt to the regular season schedule for over one month.
The season comes to an end on October 18, with 14 matches taking place at separate time slots. Each club will play 34 games, with 17 being at home and 17 being on the road. A full breakdown of the schedules for every MLS club can be found here.
