Thursday 1/16
Boys Clinic – UCLA, Penn State, Ohio State and Stanford teams alongside Mick Haley and Karch Kiraly will be hosting a clinic for the boys. No experience is needed, and you can register here if you are in the area. We cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. My own boys attended it last year in Chicago and loved it.
Friday 1/17
Alongside amazing NCAA Men’s matches, Southwest Boys Classic tournament with 151 teams registered as of right now, will also be happening in the Austin Convention Center and all the boys will be playing in the AM wave so they can watch the matches in the afternoon and evening! 4:00 PM – UCLA vs. Penn State – Watch on ESPNU
Things are not going to be easy for 0-2 Penn State as Nittany Lions lost their opening matches in Illinois to perennial MIVA contenders, Loyola and Lewis. They now face the #1 ranked UCLA who are coming off a sweep of St Francis. Bruins played this match at Long Beach State due to fires in Los Angeles area.
7:00 PM – Stanford vs. Ohio State – Watch on ESPN+
2-2 Ohio State who started the season with a pair of losses to BYU will look to keep their winning streak going by beating 1-1 Stanford who is coming off an upset of #5 Ball State
Saturday 1/18
4:00 PM – Stanford vs. Penn State – Watch on ESPN+
7:00 PM – UCLA vs. Ohio State – Watch on ESPN+
