An international airport and a power station in Yemen have been among the targets of a series of air strikes launched by Israel on Thursday.
Three people were killed and more than a dozen injured in the strikes, according to Houthi-run media.
Footage from the airport in the capital Sannaa showed chaos inside the terminal as passengers flee, while an air traffic control tower suffered damage.
While in the port city of Hodeidah, a power station was struck causing a large fire.
The Iran-backed Houthi rebel group described the attacks as “barbaric”.
In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said its “fighter jets conducted intelligence-based strikes on military targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime on the western coast and inland Yemen”.
