Trevor explained that he believed the project would enhance Mungai’s public image. However, the couple’s subsequent breakup, which included Trevor taking control of their shared YouTube channel, occurred after the project had depleted their finances. He described how any money they earned was immediately reinvested into construction materials, leaving them in a precarious financial situation.
