I wanted to share this emotional video interview of AVP great Randy Stoklos with ABC7 news regarding fires in his neighborhood in California. Its well worth watching all the way through. Hats off to Randy for his bravery and character.
On a much happier note, i mentioned yesterday everyone needs to hear the CUI Golden Eagles Men’s Volleyball annoucing team and this particular play call. I am not sure what “shababum” means but I know I need more of whatever that is in volleyball!
Couple of comments on results from last night. UCSB managed to fight off a very tough challenge from physical Missouri S&T team. Lots of errors by both teams in crucial parts of the match but UCSB managed to survive. Daemen took a set from USC and looked very good. They look poised to contend in NEC this year and should give UCSD some trouble tonight.
