CHELSEA transfer target and 20-year-old defender Ousmane Diomande could consider leaving Sporting CP next summer amid interest from the Premier League, it has been claimed in the media this week.
There is still a lot of speculation surrounding the players that Enzo Maresca will look to sign during the next couple of transfer windows, especially as the club still need to improve that back-line when they have the chance too.
That has led to some rumours in the media which have claimed that the club tried to get a transfer deal done for Diomande in the last few days of the last January window, but a €35million (£30m) bid rejected.
Diomande, who has a bit release clause, quickly became a regular in the Sporting defence following his arrival at the start of the year, making his European debut against the Gunners in the Europa League.
Per Fichajes, 20-year-old defender Ousmane Diomande could consider leaving Sporting CP next summer amid interest from the Premier League.
The player’s current deal runs until 2027, however, the contract does not have a release clause. The Portuguese giants are likely to demand a fee in the region of €50-60m.

Diomande is a quality defender that could play in the Premier League for the club, he is a man that has the ability to become a real star at Stamford Bridge and a player that we would love to see arrive at the club.
It is alot of money to splash on the lad, but at the end of the day, improving that defence is something that Enzo Maresca needs to happen, i would just like somebody with a bit more experience you know?
