Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you may have missed…
After turning this Arsenal side into one of the best in the Premier League, there was much excitement surrounding the club at the beginning of the season as many felt that the Gunners would win that title this season.
A great start was followed up by a serious of dodgy performances from Arsenal, which has left Liverpool leading the way in the Premier League and now the clear favourites to take the title away from Manchester City, and not Arsenal.
But now Arsenal have the added problem that sees Bukayo Saka out of action for quite a few weeks, meaning that Arsenal may need to delve into that transfer kitty and add a bit more depth to the side.
Now, amid all the speculation, Speaking to the media, Arteta has dopped a hint to his Arsenal fans, he said: “Let’s see. If there’s an opportunity we will look at it.
“Let’s see how we get there. Hopefully, the squad is going to be in a much healthier position than it is right now, but who knows?
“We are prepared if we need to do something, we’re capable of doing something, but then that transfer window is very tricky and difficult to control. The opportunities are very limited but we’ll be there.”

Look, ARSENAL have a very good starting eleven and maybe a few players that can make a difference off the bench, but one or two injuries could really scupper their season and that needs to be addressed.
January will give Arteta the chance to add some more depth the side, so if he does not take it, it could cost the club a title because there are alot of game to play between now and the end of the season.
SALIBA MOVE TO BE MADE
It has been claimed that Real Madrid would have to pay a massive £83 million to secure the services of Arsenal star William Saliba, as they continue to be linked with the Gunners star.
The Frenchman has established himself as a key player and regular under manager Mikel Arteta over the last two campaigns, playing a crucial role in their last two campaigns as they finished second behind Manchester City in the Premier League table.
He is one of the big reasons why ARSENAL have been so defensively good over the past few seasons, and his partnership with Gabriel is arguably one of the very best in the Premier League and maybe even the Champions League.
His commanding performances at the back have made him one of the most sought-after young defenders in Europe and as Real looks to bolster their squad for the future, Saliba appears to be at the top of their wish list.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, the Spanish giants are ready to lure him away from North London as they require defensive reinforcements.
To lure Saliba away from Arsenal, Real Madrid may have to pay a staggering fee of at least £83 million, which would set a new world record for a defender. The current record is held by Harry Maguire, who moved to Manchester United for £80 million in 2019.

ARSENAL dont want to sell Saliba, he seems happy enough for now and that is why we cant see him leaving the Emirates unless the Gunners get an offer that is far too good to turn down.
£83 million is alot of money to pay on the defender, but he is one of the best in the world, so is worth more than that.
But as we said, we cant see this move happening unless big money is offered and Saliba forces a move
ARSENAL FREE SIGN MUANI
ARSENAL could reportedly join the race to sign PSG striker Randal Kolo Muani as the Ligue 1 giants are potentially looking to send him out on loan for the remainder of the season.
ARSENAL have a quality attack that is scoring goals on a weekly basis – but Kai Havertz is not good enough to score 20 goals a season, while Gabriel Jesus simply cannot stay fit for too long.
Arsenal were heavily linked with a move for Muani before he made the switch to PSG – and could be more than interested again as they seek to continue to add a striker to their already quality attack.
Having bought Muani Eintracht Frankfurt in the summer of 2023 for a hefty €80 million, with an additional €10 million in potential add-ons, PSG are reluctant to take a financial hit and will look for at least €70 million if they decide to sell the 24-year-old forward.
With Bukayo Saka sidelined due to injury, the Gunners are actively seeking reinforcements to compensate for the absence of their star winger. The club had previously shown interest in Kolo Muani, but their pursuit now appears to be gaining momentum as Mikel Arteta is said to be an admirer of the 26-year-old forward, according to Tuttosport.
Despite interest from several clubs, including Juventus and AC Milan, Arsenal is believed to be leading the race to secure Kolo Muani’s signature.
If you believe reporter Iomie Stanley – he would be a good signing for Arsenal – he said: ‘Muani has been very exciting this season guys, he has been special and it is easy to see just why all the big clubs are looking at a possible move.
‘That is alot of money for a lad that has not really done too much in the game – and the fact that ARSENAL need to sign some more established players – they dont need to add Muani to the squad.
‘Mikel Arteta will know what type of player that he needs to keep this Arsenal side challenging for the side – but despite his struggles in France, Muani could still be a Very good signing for the Gunners at the right price.’
